Is it best to start mini-importation? Should I go into fish farming or rabbit rearing? Or is it information marketing that is the best place to start?
These are some questions that people have when they are considering starting a business. Sometimes they know it is a good thing to start one. But the questions are too many and so they give in to the overcrowded-ness these questions cause in the brain.
Let’s try to answer some of these questions (not all at once, small small).
Q1. WHAT SHOULD I SELL?
Sell what people are eager to buy. Many times, people project their need and want as other people’s needs and wants.
Let’s say I’m considering going into the clothes business and thinking of importing. I don’t like shiny accessories that attract attention so I would naturally wear clothes that are unassuming. Just simple. If I take that attitude to the market, I will close shop in 1 week because nobody will buy my kind of clothes.
In this era of tear tear jeans, the hypothetical me needs to sell trendy clothes to stand a chance of winning.
If you choose what to sell with this mindset, men and women will come to you from all sides because somebody has told them that tear tear jeans is what is in vogue. So let them have it. You will minimize your chances of failure and increase the chance of succeeding with that business.
Your job is to bring to market what is needed by the man paying the money.
